Which department
Market
You follow crypto markets and macro and can write a clear page with a chart in it, every week. Finance and economics students, any year.
Projects and Development
You have an idea you want to build, or you can code (JavaScript or TypeScript; Solidity welcome). Both kinds of people are needed.
Media and Communications
You make reels and stories, write posts, and can keep an Instagram, LinkedIn or Telegram channel alive week after week — or you are comfortable writing to a bank or a speaker you have never met, and like organising events and aperitivos.
Research and Education
You want to research non-market blockchain technology, or you are new to blockchain and want to help prepare the materials that get other members up to speed.

Onboarding
You join your department's first meeting of the semester and get your first piece of work.
Application
By joining BSBA, you will have several opportunities to learn and establish relationships with Web3 companies, by producing reports and directly working on real-life projects. Moreover, you will have the possibility to research new, exciting Web3 applications and produce articles and analyses to share with the public.
During the semester, we will be participating in and hosting events, hackathons and open meet-ups so that you can directly get in touch with people and companies already present in the sector. For more info on our activities and partnerships, visit our website!
This year, as part of a renewal of our Board, we are also looking for students who want to take a more active role in the association. A few specific positions are currently open, and we are confident that among our new members there are people ready to contribute and help us shape BSBA's next chapter.
Our activities provide our members with a solid opportunity to learn and network in the sector, that's why we look for passionate and dedicated students who are willing to have a real impact!

Questions people ask
Do I need to know anything about blockchain?
For Market, Media and Communications, and Research and Education: no. Curiosity and the ability to write clearly are what we look for. For the developer roles in Projects and Development you need to code, but not necessarily in Solidity. Research and Education is designed for people starting from zero.
Can I join in my first year?
Yes. Several of our authors joined as first-years.
Can I switch departments?
After one semester, yes, if there is space.
Do exchange students qualify?
Yes, for one semester.
